On the 1 August 2016 Bromley College merged with Bexley College and Greenwich Community College to become London South East Colleges.

London South East Colleges is the trading name of Bromley College of Further and Higher Education, which is governed by Bromley College Corporation.

Bromley College became an independent Further Education (FE) Corporation, following the Further and Higher Education Act 1992. This Act removed all FE colleges from local authority control on 1 April 1993. The College is administered under its Instrument and Articles of Government.

All Governors here at London South East Colleges are volunteers and all have significant professional, business or community experience. This experience is called on to inform the Governing Body's collective decision-making. All our staff elect their own Governors. Day-to-day governance of the College is managed by the Clerk to the Corporation.
