President of the National Union of Students (NUS), Shakira Martin, came to London South East Colleges’ Bromley Campus last Friday (15 September) to give a very special presentation and motivational speech to over 200 keen students.

A group of students from London South East Colleges’ BR6 restaurant put their catering and hospitality skills to the test last weekend at Orpington’s first Food Festival.

London South East Colleges’ Greenwich Campus played host to a very special guest today as students were treated to a very lively presentation by motivational speaker Karis Theophane.

Catherine, 49, has had two different careers already but neither compares to the one she is pursuing right now. She has just enrolled for her second year of the Childhood Studies with SEN (Special Educational Needs) Foundation Degree validated by Canterbury Christ Church University. This was made possible by taking on both English and maths at GCSE level whilst also studying for her first-year exam units of which she scored a complete set of distinction grades.
