There was joy, celebration, applause and loud cheers echoing around the auditorium walls at London South East Colleges' first ever inaugural awards last night. At times, the individual stories of courage, determination and dedication were enough to bring tears of emotion as the audience was told of the levels of adversity and obstacles students had overcome to succeed on their chosen courses.


Self-confessed computer boffin Dylan, 19, has just completed his Computing BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma course at our Bexley Campus and has also landed himself a dream apprenticeship with the German-owned assembly and fastening tool and material suppliers Würth UK.


Will and Naana have just completed their Applied Science BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma course at London South East Colleges and are now heading off to specialise in completely different career pathways at two of the UK’s leading universities.


A group of passionate engineering students from London South East Colleges will soon be taking their careers to the skies after attending a special event at London’s Biggin Hill Airport this week.
