Sam Parrett

Sam Parrett OBE

London & South East Education Group CEO and Executive Principal of London South East Colleges

Sam is the CEO of London & South East Education Group and the Executive Principal of London South East Colleges.

Sam was appointed Principal of Bromley College in 2010 and oversaw its first merger with Orpington College in 2011. This consisted of a major transformation to align the college’s curriculum and services to meet the needs of the local community. As a result, academic and financial performance improved dramatically - leading to Bromley College, under Sam’s leadership, being in prime position to head-up the country’s first three-way college merger in August 2016 with Bexley College and Greenwich Community College.

Sam is also the CEO of London South East Academies Trust which currently comprises of five schools across South East London, with ambitions to grow further over the coming years.

In addition Sam is also the Chair of Bexley-based Skills for Growth – a charity that helps young people to progress into or within employment, focusing particularly on those individuals with low prior attainment levels, those that are not engaged in education employment or training (NEET), young offenders and those leaving care.

John joined Bromley College in June 2013 as Vice Principal Finance & Resources. He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts and has a track record of implementing business efficiencies and other significant improvements together with leading through periods of change. David Lambert

David Lambert

Group Executive Director Academic Performance, Standards and Customer Experience

David joined Bromley College 13 years ago, starting as Head of Construction and Engineering before progressing to his current position within London South East Colleges. Before starting his career in Further Education, David worked in construction, serving an apprenticeship as a carpenter before moving into site and project management. Louise Wolsey

Louise Wolsey

Group Executive Director Strategy, Communications and Organisational Development

After working in West Sussex Advisory and Inspection Service during which she gained a Masters degree in School Improvement, Louise went on to work in the voluntary sector, undertaking a range of Business Development and Communications roles. These included 7 years at the Youth Sport Trust from which she went on as Director of Fundraising and Communications to establish the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, before joining Westway Trust as Director of Development 2013. Jenny Pharo

Jennifer Pharo

Group Executive Director Corporate Services

Jennifer has a career portfolio that includes working for a number of years in the legal, investment banking and financial services sectors. Primarily engaged in project management, business processes, IT and data management solutions, before switching to the education sector and retraining as a teacher/trainer in Business and IT. Jennifer started her career in further education 17 years ago for a large South East London College as a senior manager in business operations, resources and MIS before joining Bromley College as Executive Director for College Services in September 2015. Jennifer has extensive knowledge and experience of qualification reform, business processes and operations, funding and performance metrics associated with and impacting on the FE and Education Sector. She has proven skills in strategic and operational management, leading and managing large teams through change projects and merger, re-engineering business processes and financial and business planning. Raj Kakaiya

Group Executive Director Apprenticeships

Raj joined London South Colleges Group in 2018 having previously worked as Managing Director and Vice Principal within a large college group in London, he has worked in the FE/public and private training sectors.  As a senior executive in the skills arena for over 15 years Raj has significant experience in developing new business streams including apprenticeships, international, employability and implementing major change and reforms.  Raj has led on developing tender bidding capability and winning large employer contacts through team development, employer engagement and stakeholder partnership working.
