About the course

This course allows you to study both the theory and practice of a wide range of theatre styles. You will have the opportunity to take part in theatre productions in various roles such as actor or stage manager.

You will receive a variety of performance opportunities, ranging from performing in own performance space to creating new plays and performing at professional venues including Greenwich Lewisham Young Peoples Theatre and Greenwich Theatre, You will also create your own productions and take it on tour to local schools.

Throughout the course, you will benefit from workshops with professional actors, writers, directors and producers. You will also be taken on theatre trips at least once a term.

  • Assessment is by course work and assignments, which are both internally and externally assessed. These take the form of performances to an audience

  • An interest in Performing Arts

  • This course is perfect for those who have not studied Performing Arts or have little experience in this field
