What you will study
The qualifications cover the following topics:
- Food safety hazards
- Temperature control
- Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding
- Cooking, hot holding and reheating
- Food handling
The course involves a multiple choice exam paper leading to a L2 Award in Food Safety In Catering (QCF).
There are no prerequisites for this qualification, however it is advise that learner have a minimum of Level 1 in English or Maths or equivalent.
