Just over a year ago, Nathan Nelson left school with a very disappointing set of GCSE results. This followed a ‘turbulent’ relationship with his teachers at school and a lack of interest and motivation to succeed. In just twelve months, however, he has managed to turn his life around and has just been offered a level 3 apprenticeship in electrical engineering and IT with BT Group plc.

Residents, local business, school governors and potential students attended a consultation meeting this week, to have their say on a new college, proposed for development at Biggin Hill Airport.

Students at our Bexley Campus are breathing a huge sigh of relief this week after an agonising wait to find out their GCSE English and maths results. On Thursday morning, the students were handed their grades, with many receiving the news they had hoped for.

London South East Colleges is inviting residents of Biggin Hill, local businesses and all other interested parties to attend a public consultation meeting to view plans for a proposed Aerospace and Technology College at Biggin Hill Airport.
