London South East Colleges, working in partnership with Berkeley Homes, welcomed over 50 students from across three schools in the Royal Borough of Greenwich - Stationers' Crown Woods Academy, Thomas Tallis School and The Halley Academy, to take part in an exciting 'have a go' day this month. The students were given a taste of two very popular trades to promote construction as a potential career choice.

Friends Paige Greaves and Katrina Chambers-Jones, who are students at London South East Colleges' Bromley Campus, have both won Achievement Awards from the Jack Petchey Foundation. Katrina suffers from an illness which affects her mobility but doesn’t let it stop her from achieving, especially with the help and support of her friend, Paige. The girls’ peers and teachers believe Paige and Katrina are deserving of this recognition as they work well as friends to overcome struggles and work to the best of their ability at college.

Hair and beauty students based in the ‘enhance’ salon at London South East Colleges’ Bromley Campus put their technical and creative skills into action this week and produced a show full of stunning creativity, colour and imagination as they competed for prizes at the College's annual Hair Show. This year, the themes were horror for level 2 students and international culture and tradition for the level 3s.
