About the course

This course builds on the accounting skills and knowledge acquired in previous study. It introduces you to more complex accounting tasks, such as maintaining cost accounting and financial records and the preparation of returns.

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is the professional body for qualified accounting technicians or support staff working in accounting or finance functions.

  • You will have your skills and knowledge tested using computer based assessments (CBA)

Entry requirements

  • 5 GCSEs - grades A*- C / 9 - 4 including English and maths
  • OR A Level Accounting - grades A*- C / 9 - 4
  • OR Accounting Level 2 Certificate AAT - Merit or Distinction
  • Experience of working in an accounting environment
  • Selection is by interview and internal tests
