Skills Bootcamp - Onsite Construction
Our Skills Bootcamp in Multi-Skills is a free 12 week, flexible training programme funded by the Mayor of London and the Department for Education (as part of the Skills for Life campaign), designed to help adults gain practical, hands-on experience across a range of construction and property maintenance disciplines.
Delivered in partnership with employers the programme focuses on the essential trade skills that are in high demand across the sector helping you develop the confidence, knowledge, and competence needed to start or progress a career in construction.

To deliver flexible training programmes lasting up to 16 weeks based on employer demand and sector skills needs in priority sectors such as Construction

Address needs of adults (19+) who are full-time, part-time, returning to work after a break self-employed providing opportunities to retrain, update or formalise their skills or acquire specialist skills

Address needs of employers and wider economy, to deliver targeted interventions to meet short to medium term demand to fill vacancies and drive productivity

Help fill medium to higher skilled vacancies and bring individuals closer to good jobs, by linking them to a job/different role, additional responsibilities, or new opportunities/contracts

- Skills Bootcamps - Onsite Construction - Level 2 equivalent
- City & Guilds Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment

- Wraparound support including CV writing, interview prep and employability skills
- Accessibility and learning support options

The Additional Learning Support (ALS) team are on hand for support with accessibility requirements and reasonable adjustments

- Guaranteed interviews to take place by week 12 from employer partners - London Square, Neilcott, Ensigma, Morgan Sindall and Unpack with progression opportunities into vacancies in Construction
