Apprenticeship summary

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Assist experienced tradespeople with property maintenance and repair work.
  • Carry out basic carpentry, painting and decorating, plumbing and general building maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare materials, tools and work areas before starting work.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance to residential and commercial properties.
  • Learn to use a range of hand and power tools safely.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Travel to customer sites with colleagues.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied properties.
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Complete apprenticeship coursework and training activities.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Workplace: Various customer sites across South East London and Kent or in the head office (Unit 7 Little Acre Farm, Bunkers Hill, Sidcup, Kent, DA14 5EX). The apprentice will receive practical on-the-job training while working alongside experienced members of our team.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time employment or progression to a higher level apprenticeship.
