Apprenticeship summary

What will the apprentice be doing?

Set up and clear away each day
Play with children and read them stories
To prepare snacks and join children at lunchtime
Take part in planning activities
Support individual children's learning
Observe children during play
To support personal care
Work as part of a team
Liaise with parents

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

To attend college at either Bromley or Plumstead one day per month

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Apprentices can progress to Level 3 and further if they wish.
