Apprenticeship summary

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Support the Pre-Construction Operations Manager in coordinating multiple concurrent PCSAs and tenders, working across projects and locations in line with business priorities.
  • Maintain a portfolio master tracker recording deliverables, owners, due dates, dependencies, approvals, status and overdue actions.
  • Coordinate design actions, requests for information, technical queries and decisions; chase responses, record outcomes and escalate matters requiring senior input.
  • Prepare meeting packs, agendas, minutes and action logs; issue them promptly and track evidenced close-out within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain project risk, opportunity and interface trackers, highlighting emerging threats, constraints and required decisions.
  • Prepare concise weekly project and portfolio dashboards covering progress, approvals, programme, risk, quality and information status.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants and supply chain partners to keep responsibilities aligned and deliverables progressing.

At work - working in Head office and visiting sites.
