Lee joins London South East Colleges as an experienced Further Education leader, with a strong focus on creating innovative, meaningful curricula that enable learners to thrive and become the best versions of themselves.
He holds an MSc in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Portsmouth. Throughout his extensive career in Further Education, he has managed a range of Academic and Vocational curriculum areas, including A Levels, 16-19 study programmes, Adult Learning, Apprenticeships and 14-16 vocational curriculum and has developed a reputation for driving quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
With a keen eye for excellence, he has successfully brought together curriculum teams, employers, community stakeholders and industry partners to create opportunities that shape the future of education and support the next generation of learners.
The pursuit of excellence was first nurtured in connection with the world of education through Lee's successful sporting career as a Professional Rugby League player. He has represented the Great Britain Teachers Rugby League team internationally and understands first-hand the importance of resilience, commitment, teamwork and high performance. Drawing on these experiences, Lee went on to become the founder and Chief Executive Officer of a rugby club, developing leadership skills that continue to influence his approach to education today.
However, it was his passion for education and learner development that ultimately led him to dedicate his career to the Further Education sector. Over the years, Lee has held a range of senior leadership positions, leading curriculum transformation, quality improvement initiatives and strategic partnerships that have enhanced learner outcomes and strengthened employer engagement. He is particularly passionate about ensuring that education remains responsive to industry needs, equipping learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to succeed in an ever-changing world.
Lee is committed to delivering a culture of ambition, innovation and excellence. He believes that every learner has the potential to achieve extraordinary outcomes within Further Education when provided with the right challenge and opportunities.
